Shenzhen Antuo Hill exists as a quarry and the ecological environment has been severely damaged as a result. New environmental remedies plan to develop this area into a rich, modern center for culture and livelihood.

Based on detailed analysis of existing spatial and environmental conditions, different themes and forms of the museum buildings form along the mountain. The foot of the building has gritty, geometric rock texture in order to preserve and continue the historical memory of this region. The viewing platform is located in the top of the mountains, resembling the inhabitant daily activities–neat and round, embedded in the mountain, suggesting the ancient philosophy of “the Unity of Heaven and man” is the unity of man and nature.
